Just a walk around the city

Bonjour! I’m exactly 5,246 miles away from Houston in the beautiful city of Paris, France! Eight and a half hours on a plane is definitely worth getting to see the city of Paris for the first time! I haven’t been in the city long but it has most certainly exceeded my expectations thus far. Upon entering, the city of Paris can almost be overwhelming with the traffic and odd streets, but within the confusion there are also moments where you find yourself in pure awe of your surroundings. In the old city streets of Paris, the pictures you’ve seen in books and movies seem to come to life and almost make you believe that you’re in one yourself. The city streets of Paris definitely take on a life of their own. As you walk past the Eifel Tower, as well as the small but quaint bakeries and dessert shops the well-dressed city natives can be found running around on equal parts of pride and panache as the go about their day to day lives in the city.  I am looking forward to seeing what other amazing sites and scenes Paris has to offer as we start off our week here in Paris, France for the International Medial Seminar!
