This Paris adventure has been both exciting and new. Leaving the hotel at around 10:15am we attend mass at the Notre Dame Cathedral! The opportunity to experience such an historic place was breathe taking. The Cathedral had luminous stain glass windows and wonderful historic content to learn the history of how it was built and the prominent people who were active in the church. Concluding our visit, we took a boat cruise touring the ravishing architecture down the ventral river in Paris. After the cruise a 2.5 mile walk brought us to our hostess's home to kick off the conference. On arrival we had beverages, chips and bread. During the ceremony there were 4 guest speakers who talked about their experiences traveling the world and how journalism has affected their lives. It was amazing to see so much talent and passion in young adults, it was highly inspirational. After we left the apartment we attended a local jazz club that was held underneath the ground. Surprisingly they had great entertainment and a joyful atmosphere.
