Today was extremely fun! I was able to sleep in which was amazing and I was also able to abuse the Internet that was finally working. Uploading pictures on Facebook, I wanted people to have a sense of what I’m getting to experience. At 3:00pm we got our metro pass to venture around the 5 zones of Paris. After our brief traveling segment we went to a seminar at America University of Paris where people rounded up to hear a guest speaker talk about the “do’s and don’ts” about common curtsey around Paris. She was a great speaker who brought much enthusiasm to the audience. Non-coincidentally the speaker is an author of two published books about French culture. She taught us how to be polite and accommodate the French people as they are. After the guest speaker finished her section we took the metro to another hostess home across town. Her house was extremely nice and had tons of food for us to eat. We had two more guest speakers from New Times Magazine who spoke about determinations and passion for whatever we have passion for. Learning much from a variety of resources I can’t wait to share my new found knowledge with other.
.
In what ways does French culture and mannerism differ from us here down south?
