Hello, my name is JacQuitta Beeks and I am a Junior at Prairie View A & M University. Majoring in Political Science, with a minor in Communications. I am originally from Georgia, I moved to Texas in December of 2008. I am Vice President of the Political Science Club, as well as a member of the E-board for PVAMU’s Young Democrats where I am in charge of Seminars and Events. I plan to go to Law School in the Fall of 2015 or work for the Department of Homeland Security. I am a very outgoing and kind person. I enjoy reading, shopping, traveling and being around family and friends. While some students are away in Paris, I will take on the job as editor for Shelly Travis. I look forward to all the stories, tweets and images that she will send me and I hope she has a great time. I live day to day by “living life to the fullest” and “focus on today and not yesterday”. I am enjoying my youthful years, because once they are over they are over.
